Just fuckin do it

How to stop procrastinating and feeling shitty about it

A lot of times we have thse goals or things we want to achieve. A lot of times its a long laundry list of stuff. Let’s see what am i supposed to do today…

  1. Write 2 articles for fearless lifestyles
  2. Close potential video client (I have a production company that makes viral web based videos and commercials for companies)
  3. Meet with marketing client and close on definite course of action (My company also handles digital marketing as well)
  4. Make video for new dating product (coming with a new product for the israeli market in hebrew on how to get laid and date when you’re traveling)
  5. Edit dating videos and new facebook show (building a funny 2 minute talk show for facebook)
  6. Do gymnastic ring, parkour and pole dance workout
  7. Create 3 funny or insightful facebook statuses and post them (this is for social game and in my case I do standup comedy and it helps build an audience)
  8. Post in 3 different sex/orgy groups (these are private groups with highly sexual guys and girls. We meet for orgies and random sex)
  9. Have 3 pickup sessions with 3 different clients (I teach pickup infield one on one)
  10. Do vocal workout and practice guitar
  11. improv/acting practice
  12. Meet up with one of my friends with benefits and have a fun night of weed and sex

This is my list of what I’m supposed to do today.

Now there are a few things to notice:

  1. It’s very long. Even if it looks like not that much to some of you I promise that each activity takes time. I sleep anywhere from 3-5 hours a night and I couldn’t get all of this done if I slept more. ****it may sound like very little sleep but i’ve never been more energized in my life. If you want to know how to do this too and get rid of your need for sleep then read my article on [link getting rid of your emotional vices and let your energy flow (talk about quiting food, cigarettes, sleeping, lazyness etc…)]
  2. Its things that I enjoy doing. A lot of us who are into self development we do things because we want to achieve various skill sets however the question is how much are you enjoying those activities as opposed to just just gritting your teeth and trying to get it done? I could never keep a schedule like this if I wasn’t genuinely enjoying myself all throughout the day. I’d simply crash. The only way I can just fuckin do it is because I’m following my greatest excitement [link to 5 p’s for passion]. Grinding away at something when you’re not enjoying it is doomed to failure unless you get the external validation you’re looking for very quickly. This could come in the form of muscles, money, girls or whatever you’re trying to do.
  3. I probably won’t finish everything on this list or I’ll do some of it half assed. For example in the workout portion I have in my head what I want to do however I’ll probably do a watered down version if I see that I’m running short on time.

In the past whenever I would have a list like this and not accomplish it in the way that I wanted to I would look back on my day and beat myself up. I would say to myself, “you didn’t do this and this and this etc…” however now after much trial and error and experience this is what my mind tells me. “You got this done and this done and this done etc… way to go dani!!!”

Ever since I’ve adopted this method I’ve been much happier, more motivated and I’ve been able to get a lot more shit done and just to fuckin do it.

In the past if I only had 20 minutes to workout and I needed an hour I wouldn’t work out at all because my head would play games that I don’t have the time and it’s not worth it bla bla bla… The reason why my head went to that place is because I would beat myself up and didn’t want to say to myself at the end of the day that I had a shitty workout.  Even though at the end I’d still be angry with myself for doing nothing.

However now even if I only have 5 minutes to work out I go and do it, then when I’m reflecting on how the day went those 5 minutes make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. This feeling creates forward moving momentum and if I did a 5 minute workout the day before i’ll usually be able to make up for it completely the day after and things don’t get swept under the rug.

It comes down to negative reinforcement vs positive and working from a place of expansion as opposed to “I need to do this or else…”

The negative reinforcement vs positive thingy is what I discussed earlier. Are you beating yourself up or are you giving yourself a pat on the back. I promise you the carrot works much better than the stick and most people shove a giant stick up their ass when they try and accomplish things. Most write lists of goals that collect dust and makes them feel bad about it. I’m not going to tell you to write goals, timelines or all the shitty advice a lot of life coaches give. The bottom line is if an activity makes you happy you’ll want to do more of it. I care much more how you feel as opposed to logically trying to tick the box that you did something.

When it comes to working from a place of expansion vs contraction or, “i need to do this or else”. Ask yourself how do i feel when I do this activity? Am I coming from a great place and I’m having a great time and I want to have even more fun? Or are you coming from that place of, “I need to do this or I won’t get money and bitches”.

Start having fun, get shit done and just fuckin do it!

Like right now, it’s morning, I just posted in one of the sex groups that I’m part of and one of the girls is coming over for morning coffee and quicky

See you fearless fuckers later,

Dani
